September 1 - 30, 2010 (Online Workshop)
Speaker: Erica Barton
Topic: How To Make Money With Your Writer's Blog
Erica will be teaching her very first online workshop, all about making money with your blog. During the month of September, she will be teaching write's how to write for blogs, what to blog about, how to get a LOT of traffic to your blog, and then how to monetize your blog so that you can start supplementing your writer's income at any stage of your writer's career. Join her to learn what the blogging experts are doing to make thousands and hundreds of thousands of dollars a year.
Erica Barton has been blogging for three years and has made thousands of dollars online. Additionally, her most popular blog post ever received more than 20,000 hits and made over $600 for the blog it was posted on. Realizing she should be making that kind of money for herself instead of someone else, she started her own blog about the most boring topic in the world...Bookkeeping. In the first six months of its creation, the OneHourBookkeeper.com website received more than 50,000 hits and hundreds of email subscribers. Also, while most internet surfers spend an average of 9 seconds on a blog before moving on, Erica's visitors stay an average of 2-4 minutes on her site and visit 2.5 pages per site. Since blogging has a beautiful snowball effect of making more and more money over time (24 hours a day, 7 days a week), Erica is completely confident that blogging will soon replace the usual "Day Job" in her life. So...if Erica can get fans on a bookkeeping blog and make nearly a thousand dollars in its first six months of existence, imagine what you can do on your blog.
The class is $15 for LARA Members and $20 for Non-LARA Members. Sign-ups open August 5, 2010.
